Our Story

  Hailing from Dillon, Colorado, Local Folk is a mountain soul grass band founded in 2013 in Summit County. Led by the versatile Mountain Dru on mandolin and guitar, joined by Loren Zynieki on guitar and Josh Loun on bass, this trio creates a sonic landscape of hot licks, good times, and high harmonies. Rooted in the rugged beauty of the Rockies, Local Folk infuses their music with the spirit of the mountains, offering a blend of bluegrass, soul, and folk.
